What is Duvaileon?

    Duvaileon is a streetwear brand based on ocean awareness and marine biology. This idea was manifested by Jordon King in 2015, based on his dream to pursue a career in marine biology due to his fascination for life in the ocean. His main goal for this brand is to use art and style as a means of expression.His love for cartoons, art and bright colors also influenced his designs and from this, he wishes to inspire others, to freely express themselves.

    What stood out to him the most is that all oceanic organisms were able to support each other both directly or in directly, which is rare to come by in today's society. In high school, Jordon experienced an emotional struggle where he had difficulty expressing himself. This made it extremely difficult for him to interact with people without them referring to him as “weird”. As a result of this, he drew and painted colorful cartoon like characters and designed clothes in his leisure time as a means of expression.
     
    After finding a way to express himself through his designs and style, he was able to freely express himself along with his passion for marine biology from a colorful and cartoonist perspective. Jordon is now attending a Maritime based college in New York and is three years away from becoming a certified marine biologist. With that being said, the slogan “keep sailing, keep going...” means that one should never give up on what they want to achieve in life, no matter the obstacles they face. Stay true to yourself and do what you believe in with a purpose behind it. 

What does the logo mean ?

    A captain takes charge of where he wants to go with a specific purpose through strong leadership and integrity. Be the captain, be a leader and take charge of your own destiny in life. Know why you’re doing it and what purpose it serves.

“Ocean awareness”

    This brand is also spreading awareness about the negative effects that human beings have on the ocean. As Jordon grew older, it came to his knowledge that actions such as air and noise pollution etc. are causing several oceanic organisms to become either endangered or extinct. As a result, endangerment/extinction of one organism could lead to the extinction of another due to interdependency. He would love for people to know that they can be a part of a huge cause by helping to reduce the amount of pollution within the aquatic environment through actions such as reducing the amount of plastic/waste dumped into the ocean. We can all make a change, spread the word!
